Reliability, functionality and intuitiveness are the key foundations for the Alewijnse alarm and monitoring system.

To maintain a ship’s goals in terms of safety, productivity, environment and efficiency, operators need to be informed about process conditions that require timely assessment and possibly corrective actions. The Alewijnse alarm and monitoring system (AMS) provides the alarms and status information that allows the crew to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the machinery and other related equipment on board, in compliance with international rules and regulations required by classification societies.

Reliable and high-end

At Alewijnse we combine state-of-the-art graphics with the latest high-end hardware in a system which is scalable from a standalone product to an integral part of an advanced integrated platform management system. The AMS is suitable for all vessel sizes and markets ranging from transport and offshore to naval and superyachts.

In addition to the common AMS functionalities, additional options can be added to the list of features. Popular add-on functions include access to e-drawings and comprehensive lists of configurable variables for each input/output.

Data logging

The importance of data logging is often underrated. In order to understand and solve a problem, having the correct data is essential. With the Alewijnse Alarm & Monitoring System, our customers don’t have to worry about setting the correct parameters for logging, since the detail of every single in and output is logged by default. The data can then be exported or visualised in graphical formats to quickly identify problems.
