Jr. Software Engineer - Maritime

What are you going to do?
As a Junior Software Engineer, you'll be involved from day one in the design, programming, and implementation of control software for maritime installations. With the guidance of a mentor, you'll learn step by step how to develop software for PLC and HMI systems used onboard vessels.
Your tasks will include:
- Designing and developing control software for maritime applications.
- Testing and commissioning systems, both on-site and onboard.
- Analyzing and solving technical issues.
- Collaborating with software, hardware, and electrical engineering teams.
- Contributing ideas to optimize processes and systems.

Who are you?
We’re looking for someone with energy and curiosity who’s ready to learn the ropes. Someone who doesn’t shy away from technical challenges and enjoys working on innovative solutions with others. You don’t have to know everything yet – if you’ve got the drive to grow, we’ll make sure you get the right support.
You bring:
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
- A strong interest in maritime technology and automation systems.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
