Window heating system on board Allseas' Fortitude
Alewijnse successfully delivered a window heating system on board offshore construction vessel Fortitude.
The innovative anti-fog window heating system is developed by Alewijnse to limit window damage in case of large temperate fluctuations.
The Alewijnse Window Heating (AlWiHe) system is enabling the windows to be heated in a controlled way in which the actual windows temperature, bridge temperature, heating time and speed are monitored, controlled and alarmed in case of unexpected behaviour. The innovative system is successfully installed on the offshore construction vessel Fortitude from the fleet of Allseas, one of the major offshore pipelay and subsea construction companies in the world.

The heating window system is working fine and without any complains or a broken window until now. To be honest the crew is satisfied with the system.
