Alewijnse completes systems integration for Amels 60 yacht SATEMI
Alewijnse has successfully completed the electrical systems integration on board the Amels 60 SATEMI, the first vessel in the Amels 60 series to be built with a full hybrid notation. This innovative and elegant yacht is yet another jewel in Damen Yachting’s 60-metre series, and creates a new milestone on the path towards an even more sophisticated and sustainable yachting experience.

“She is the first in her class to be built to achieve a full hybrid notation, and so is equipped with the highest standards of technology,” reveals Alewijnse’s project manager Christian Devescovi. “Just as with the first three Amels 60 superyachts, Alewijnse has provided a comprehensive package of electrical installation and systems integration. Besides the hybrid propulsion and energy storage systems, this includes those delivering the navigation and communication capabilities as well as the onboard audio-video and IT platforms and hardware.”
An advanced AV/IT system
Christian emphasises the sophistication of the audio/video information and communication system, stating, "She has been extensively customised to meet the owner’s preferences. She features a next-generation Samsung wall panel, the first to be installed in the maritime sector, offering a stunning cinema experience in the Bridge Deck Saloon.”

The vessel itself boasts a modern and impeccable yacht design. Despite her relatively compact size and a crew requirement in the low teens, the Amels 60 series delivers an exceptional onboard and outdoor experience for the owner and up to 12 guests. The accommodation includes six, luxurious VIP suites, all fitted out to the highest standards according to the owners’ wishes, and equipped with advanced infotainment systems.
