Exploring whether a battery can truly pay for itself

Give me a battery system, please. But why, really? A battery by itself is quite expensive and only introduces additional losses. In an upcoming KNVTS lecture on February 11, Matthijs Mosselaar and Akhil Ajith, both graduates of Delft University of Technology and now with Alewijnse, will guide you through the key considerations when choosing a battery system, determining its size, and exploring whether a battery can truly pay for itself. They will also delve into the differences between AC and DC systems and emphasize the importance of good design to prevent power quality issues in (hybrid) systems.
