At the maritime exhibition Europort, electrical system integrator Alewijnse Marine Systems will be showcasing the breadth and depth of its capabilities at its stylish stand in Hall 1, Stand 1307 in Ahoy Rotterdam, 3-6 November 2015. There its experts will welcome visitors and be available to discuss their goals for the future and the contribution that Alewijnse can make to ensure that they are achieved.
The company will be bringing its philosophy of ‘continuously connected from idea to sea’ to the show, with its emphasis on collaboration with the client from the earliest stages of a project through to completion and after-sales support. As a full-service provider, Alewijnse delivers a round the clock, global service that covers the design, engineering, installation, integration and maintenance of all types of electrical and electro-mechanical systems. It also works on every type of sea-going vessel and installation.
Notable highlights of 2015 include the completion of the first year of a contract to deliver electrical services and maintenance to a major European ship repair yard. During that time, among more than 20 vessels that Alewijnse worked on were a cable layer, a turbine installation vessel, several ferries and an offshore supply ship. Elsewhere the company won a long-term service contract covering two cable laying vessels for one of the biggest dredging companies in the world.
Alewijnse also continues to be a valued partner in the superyacht sector, an industry known for its high standards, cutting-edge technology and the importance that it places on impeccable service. During the year Alewijnse has brought its new superyacht service and refit subsidiary in the Mediterranean superyacht hub of La Ciotat up to speed. This facility typifies the Alewijnse approach of having local teams in place for routine tasks, but which can then draw on the full resources of the group when larger assignments require it.
Recently the company has also celebrated the completion of one of its largest, single ship contracts to date. This was the full supply, installation, integration and commissioning of the critical electrical systems on board an offshore light well intervention vessel. A highly complex and sophisticated vessel, this has been a showcase for Alewijnse’s capabilities and expertise.
Europort is the latest of the shows attended by the Alewijnse Group. With successful appearances at the recent Monaco Yacht Show and Offshore Energy 2015, following Europort the Alewijnse team will next be at METS 2015 at RAI, Amsterdam on 17-19 November.
