What will you be doing as a Commissioner?
You will help with the successful delivery of an innovative hybrid installation and with your knowledge contribute to a challenging project, which we would like to tell you more about in the first interview.

Your responsibilities will include testing, commissioning and troubleshooting a wide variety of complex installations and products on board luxury yachts. It is a versatile position in which you will be working with many different parties.

A glimpse of your tasks:

  • Checking installations and systems for technical completeness and resolving any design or installation errors;
  • Starting up the own installations and systems, whether or not in cooperation with the customer, as well as systems of "third parties";
  • Functional testing of the installation and equipment in accordance with the commissioning protocol (completion of checklist);
  • Interpreting the test data and using it to determine where the "disturbance" is;
  • Implementing changes to the (electrical) installation or the control system (PLC);
  • Manually keeping track of revisions on the drawings;
  • Collecting the test data and recording them in a test report (if any) in accordance with the protocol;
  • Performing IO tests;
  • Performing final inspection.

Who are you?
From our Commissioning Engineer we expect you to be able to take on a versatile role. In this role, you will be integrally testing our work on yachts. You are able to commission a complete drive line yourself. In addition, diagnosing and configuring automation layers are not unknown to you.

In addition:

  • You have an MBO or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, possibly supplemented with professional courses;
  • You have experience in the maritime sector (Offshore, Specials and Navy a plus);
  • You have good communication skills in English. German and Dutch are an advantage;
  • You are independent and know how to persevere;
  • You willing to occasionally work internationally.
