HANOI, VIETNAM - With Vietnam rapidly emerging as a significant centre of shipbuilding in South-East Asia, Alewijnse Marine is delighted to be returning to the biennial Vietship International Exhibition of Shipbuilding once again. Taking place in the National Convention Centre in Hanoi, Vietship 2018 is being held from 24-26 January, and Alewijnse Marine is looking forward to welcoming representatives from the regional maritime sector to its stand A06.01, on the first floor.

Alewijnse Marine has had a presence in Hanoi since 2008. Manned by a team of highly skilled technicians and project managers, it has already gained an in-depth understanding of the local industry and its requirements. The current role of Alewijnse is focused primarily on system design, engineering, the provision of material packages for electrical installations and commissioning.
A high-level team
At the show, the Alewijnse team of experts will led by Marketing & Sales Director Sander Doves and Director International Pieter Smit, supported by Vietnam Operational Manager Daniel Pop, Vietnam Management Assistant Ms Daniela Pop, Purchasing Manager Mr Nguyen Quang Viet and Sales Manager Mr. Luong Anh Viet.
There they will welcome visitors to the stand to discuss their goals for the future and the contribution that Alewijnse can make to help ensure that these are achieved. Members of the team will be available throughout the show to discuss the latest technologies and recent deliveries, and the company’s future plans in Vietnam and across South-East Asia. They will also be happy to answer specific electrical system questions and discuss requirements ranging from system integration to automation and local content issues.
“At the show we will be showcasing our ability to provide high-end system integration, electrical installation and switchboard production to the Vietnamese market,” commented Alewijnse Marine Operational Manager in Vietnam, Mr Daniel Pop. “Our focus on collaboration with our clients from the earliest stages of a project through to completion and after-sales support creates strong relationships, and since our arrival in Vietnam we have carried out a number of interesting projects, including the delivery of the highly complex electrical installation on board the Australian MATV (Multirole Aviation Training Vessel) Sycamore, which was built here.”
