Self-elevating accommodation and maintenance platform Seafox II

Alewijnse was commissioned by the OAC Group to install the complete electrical installation for all levels of the Seafox II. The Seafox II is an explicit example that Alewijnse is capable to execute projects of considerable size. Alewijnse is one of the members of the Offshore Accommodation Contractors Group. This ‘combined strength’ ensures a principal ‘no interfaces, no budget overruns and the guarantee to receive the best quality-cost ratio’.

Our scope of work

● Commissioned at all levels (1-5) and at all spaces

● Installation of power supply cables and lighting distribution panels on each deck

● Installation of a complete, new E-installation for one cabins (123), office cabins (122) and wet rooms (123), survey office, galley, corridors, stairways on each deck, helideck lounges and upper and lower recreation room

● Electrical installations of change room “toilets”, gymnasium, examination room and control room

● Installation of an addressable gas detection system, 18 gas sensors in total, installing the complete fire detection installation: removing existing panel, installing electrical cables and new panel, commissioning the system, specification incl. loop proposal, drawings

● Installing new cables and sockets

● Connecting electrical components
