Stan Tug series, one step ahead!

At Damen Shipyard in Galati the Stan Tug 2208 is built as a modern seagoing twin screw tug boat for harbors and coastal waters. Batyr is the first tug from the series of tugs 2208 with unrestrictive service and Ice Class 1C.  Alewijnse will provide its services to the total range of tugs that will be delivered to 2008 inclusive. The vessel 2208 is propelled by two marine diesel engines, each driving a fixed pitch propeller in a fixed nozzle. These engines have a closed cooling water system and are electrically started. To serve our clients, we make use of our own teams of experts who are dedicated to the particular maritime market segments. The full range of electrical services for Stan Tug 2208, have been performed by the Stan Tug Division from Alewijnse Retec in Romania, always flexible, one step ahead for fulfilling the clients' requests.
