This containership has 200 reefer connections. During Sea mode the captain can easily decide to gain speed for the main engine by moving reefer connections from the shaft generator to the auxiliary generators. Next to that Alewijnse is a flexible partner all around the world. The hull for this ship was built in Romania. During the building of the hull Alewijnse has done the on site ironwork and laid down the cabling to the fore ship.
